Extend upwards into your attic space and you gain a bedroom, bathroom, playroom, workroom, office or even just storage space – whatever you need.
Many of our clients want the ‘wow factor’, and with careful planning and design considerations, as well as our close working relationships with local planning officers, we can achieve that.
And if you have less ‘lofty’ aspirations, straightforward loft conversions to add an extra bedroom and/or bathroom are among the jobs we carry out regularly.
Upper-floor extension, Brixton, south London
This house had previously been extended to the rear, so the only way to add much-needed space was to extend upwards. We met the clients at the property, carried out a survey and had drawings produced. Once approved by the clients, they were submitted to the local planning authority for approval. Once approval was obtained, we carried out the work within budget and on time. The clients were very pleased with the work.
Loft conversion, Blackheath, south London
The owners of a three-bedroom house, who have three children, wanted to create an ‘adult sanctuary’ for themselves. Extending into the loft space, we created a large bedroom with a lounge area, en-suite and custom-made large wardrobe. Once the loft conversion was completed, we redecorated the rest of the house.
