Renovating your home, or part of it, can give you a new, improved living space that suits your lifestyle – and you don’t need to move house.
The scale and scope of the refurbishment depends on the client. Call on us before you move in, or when you’ve lived there for years. We can carry out everything from improvement of an individual room or area, to a total reworking of the entire place. We can completely gut a property back to the bare brickwork and hand over a fully renovated, new-look home, ready to move in to.
Depending on your requirements, we can install new plumbing and pipework, electrical circuitry and sockets, and central heating systems. The walls can be skimmed, plastered, painted and decorated and fully finished with all fixtures and fittings. Installing a new kitchen or bathroom is one of our most popular projects, and we can also create custom-made built-in storage solutions.
Full refurbishment, Westcombe Park, South London
We began by completely gutting the flat, then fully rewired it and installed a new central heating system with a new boiler and radiators. We re-plastered the whole flat and fitted a new kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen and bathroom floors had underfloor heating, and high-gloss wooden floor was laid in the rest of the flat. We supplied and fitted new doors, architrave and skirting throughout and designed and fitted a wardrobe in the bedroom. The work took 10 weeks.
The kitchen fitting that turned into more…
A new client contracted us to remove his old kitchen, and prepare the room for a new one by installing electrics and plumbing, replastering walls and laying a new polished-concrete floor with underfloor heating. We carried out this work, and the new kitchen was fitted. We were on site for a couple of weeks.
The client was so impressed with our work that he took us on for further work, included building a retaining wall and laying new travertine slabs in the garden. We refurbished the living room, fitting two new fireplaces, stripping and repapering the walls. We replaced the staircase with a solid-wood American walnut model, complete with new treads and risers, balustrades and handrail.
Partial house refurbishment, Greenwich, south London
This job was for a client who had tenants in the house, who were happy to remain whilst the works went on. We replaced old Crittall steel-framed windows with double-glazed UPVC windows and doors. We fitted a new bathroom and carried out minor repairs to the kitchen, and laid a new floor in both rooms. After redecorating the house from top to bottom, we fitted new carpets in the bedrooms and stairwell.
